Generally the field recordings being broadcast by k-radio will be recorded within Cornwall -This way we can transmit the actual sound of Cornwall to the universe, but to kick off this gripping format of sound work, we have a conceptually Cornish piece.

The story of a man who "gave up" being a 'creative person' - making music with his every free moment - in Cornwall; Awakening to a reality of London life - in the hope of making a living; We join him today as he leaves his home, not to walk the coast or countryside of his once home; But to travel his daily journey to the press cutting agency where he now works instead of creating beautiful music.

Today you can journey along and listen with him through the time and space hole of radio - as we join a man who "left it all behind in order to live".
