In the absence of any real motivation to produce the cassette version, and
putting aside any recent discussions of value, here is part one of
two of a recent work meant for someplace else but instead now to be
found here.

Another of the dj derehctub mixes put together in 2008.
A selection of sludgy, drip drop techno and interesting, inventive electro to be found here.
Live recording of a jam session on 22.08.09 at Studio 4, Stamford Hill.
Lever - Laptop/Synthesiser/Effects.
Jaxson - S1000/Effects/Percussion/Guitar.
Another mix from a couple of years ago. Mostly house/techno this time with a ten minute gem mixed in at the end.
Late in the early hours after many boozy drinks have been drank and the head is sozzled, Mr Swap occasionally kicks in.
He shows off his sadness and joy of being alive and his frustrated search to connect by singing spontaneous songs, streamed from the subconscious and strummed on an out of tune guitar if available.
This mix doesn't contain any original songs because none have ever been recorded. The music for this mix was chosen as an attempt to represent the inner tangle and frustrations of Mr Swap.
This is a little selection of outtakes from the album Leisure Time Explosion.
I really like these pieces but ultimately they didn't quite fit.
I'm glad they finally found a home here amongst some highlights that did make the finished album.
Visit http://jaxson.net/ for more info.
To celebrate the solstice (didn't quite post it in time). It's all downhill from now on.
A second short mix from Keith Richards.
Some of the oldest and most wonderful matirial that KR has to offer.
A great demonstration for why we love his music so much.
Ex Falmouthian Keith Richards appears on a couple of early koept.net compilations.
Here is part 1 of 2 short mixes of original Keith Richards specialness.
Part 2 of a 2 part mix titled 'what used to be me is backward soundtrack'.
Processed tracks, sound experiments, exclusive personality son tracks (all mixed up).
Part 1 of a 2 part mix titled 'what used to be me is backward soundtrack'.
Processed tracks are mixed together with some sound experiments and exclusive personality son tracks.
Part 2 to follow.
Mixed by derehctub - Springtime (two years ago).
This mix celebrates both the launch of jaxson.net and the physical
release of Hopen.
Included in the mix are sections of Hopen alongside some unreleased
pieces that will fully surface sometime in the future.
I recently found this on an old mini disk while looking for old material to donate to thæ devine Cossacks. Although a lot of the playing is very sloppy, the overall feel is quite positive and warm sounding so i thought it would be worth sharing anyway.
Recorded at Cambridge Place in Falmouth, Cornwall - July 2001.
iermoç and DNCN - synthesizers.
personality son - drums.
For some reason the recording is smothered in reverb.
A batch of songs about what I don't get enough of, except with alcohol or lady or within tent (or all 3).
The sketch of me is by Christine Redhead.
I now have my own "MIXTAPE" show on SOURCE FM 96.1 community radio but it is only available in Falmouth area but will soon be online!
I am doing a similar show to what I already do here but with added live waffle..
Check it out! please

SCOTTNOSKILLS
second edition of the koept archive mixes. some of this material has been put out on some kind of physical format in the past so see koept.net for more details. this mix is a little more upbeat than the last one...
happy christmas everyone!
this is actually about a little island (hopen)up above the top of norway in the middle of the freezing sea - it's only inhabitants are the four people who man the weather station there - but it is also quite christmasy...
a random evening with help from various friends real and metaphorical...
ended up with me happily spending some time in an army sleeping bag on a seafront bench enjoying the sea and the stars.
Knappen did a very wonky dj set at ''late at Tate'' very early realy, on the 7th of November it features a koept artists and some random new and old things by various artist full track listing below. as you might hear it featurres a lot of baloons letting of air samples in the background and a very lame rave alarm, this is cause the dj was a little spassed out by flu and scared of the reverb of the room which you can look at here: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3059/3015733202_06773a5f45.jpg?v=0

Part one of a History of koept.net - A combination of audio that was put out for free and some of the items available on vinyl and CD from koept.net
first in a series of mixes by dj derehctub for k-radio - focusing on the kind of techno and electro that has inspired some of my own projects.
knappen: recordings by Halvorsen, for more info check http://please.knappen.me/in/my/radio
for the first episode there is a intro by Holland Teacher followed by a live set by p.glass and the baloonsax
An audio work by Patrick Simons(Glorious Ninth) . Initially recorded as part of an installation for "Disrupting Narratives" symposium, Tate Modern, 2007.
Today we have our first field recording on k-radio.
Generally the field recordings being broadcast by k-radio will be recorded within Cornwall -This way we can transmit the actual sound of Cornwall to the universe, but to kick off this gripping format of sound work, we have a conceptually Cornish piece.
This mix was performed by Olivers Computer without any help other than a little instruction.
- It is in 3 movements [intro-mix-finale]
- at least 3 songs must play at all times
- no beat matching alowed
- change volume 3 times within each track
- pan in similar mannor
- select tracks at random from collection
our featured artist today is Erikk Fletcher. He will be playing a mixture of mostly his stuff with a couple of things not by him, thrown in, just in case we "get lost". There is a lot of experimental sound stuff in there, so you have been warned in advance. Erikk is Cornish by birth but doesn't often visit the motherland as "its too damp" and "funk is so 10 years ago". so, without further ado, k-radio bring you Erikk Fletcher's jägermeister mix.
featuring:
. heather mills - tvhell2beat3straighttrikosong 2.wav featuring A long and prosperous retirement.wav for bedsheet and guitar
. an amaizing live recording from 'four black squares' covering 'no noubt' on the 25th of April 2003, 22:00:20
. 19200000hz/sec - [natural noise set of flint rock versus storm wind] vs the flumps
The mix sent in this week by that wonderful freddie mercoi marks the decision to give Scottnoskills his own weekly show as of Thursday. Freddie has been working undercover with us for some time and this is a wonderful chance to hear what goes on behind the scenes. As for Scott, over to him on thursday for his introductory Short Songs Set.
Well I’ve just heard the first k-radio show not by me, and it’s a very odd marvel to be sure:
Whilst Oliver Baggott and scottnoskills, Emily and I were being indecisive about going to the beer festival and getting really annoyed and confused, I snuck on a cassette to record the short moment that Scott and Baggott had a little catch up session.
What with the amazing qualities of cassette, the wonky floorboards of the floor the decks reside upon and the impromptu un-planned ness I think this is a sure winner.
